[SOLVED] anyone use "myalert" program looking for another type like this

i have used this program ,MYALERT, for well over 12 years and it has always served me well. its a reminder that can let you know of upcoming things.. however its getting a little long in the tooth.. sometimes it works.. sometimes it doesnt. has anyone used this and found a better one for upcoming reminders on their desktop?? thanks

Have you tried the Calendar app that's built into Windows 10? It works mighty fine for me.

well i took a quick look at that and i think if i am not mistaken you have to sign in with your microsoft account. i choose not to use my microsoft account.. i use an offline account. i have trust issues with microsoft.. anyway.. the calendar looks like it is a one time event thing. .i want monthly reminders or yearly reminders and from what i saw. i didnt find those options listed.. MYALERT was very basic but also had some good flexibility with it. but thanks for the suggestion
