In response to recent events I'm searching for a new soundcard for my next scratch build. A squaddie recommended this card to me:

I'm wondering if anyone's had any experience with it before I buy it.

I have the little sibling, the STRIKER.

I quite like it. Games pretty well, but then I like surround sound in GAMES.

i have the Striker 7.1 also and love it new drivers just came out for Vista 32 &64 bit with some other improvement coming for PCM. Sound is great.
