Applied thermal paste and pc doesnt boot up (urgent please!!!!)

Hello guys, so i changed the thermal paste off my CPU (Intel Core 2 Quad q9450 2.6ghz) and when i boot up the computer, it doesn't beep and the monitor shows no signal, why? im so desperate please help!!!

You have nothing to loose then,..and that's a good thing,.
Being a 775 socket your hands are a bit tied on boosting up the performance really that much,.
Hope it works and let me know how it turns out for you,..

That seems a little expensive for that CPU. I bought a Q6700 for my son's pc a few days ago for $30

I was thinking about the same thing,..that is a bit pricey,..
There's the same processor on E-Bay used but with a one year warranty for 35.00,.I didn't mention it because I am not sure what country Rodas lives in,.
