i have the same problem with the webcam (comes attached to the LCD) . Every-time i connect it to the slot on the top of the LCD it LED turns Green for 1sec..then nothing. Device manager won't even see any webcam ,plugin it and out won't interfere with windows. Maybe it can be a hardware problem with it and can be fixed by opening it and fix it. please help me with an ideea. Thanks!

Please provide model numbers so we can look up specifications. Also, what type of connection are you using for the webcam?
