Hi not sure if I'm being an idiot but finally getting round to building my pc, I have removed the silver frame that holds the processor so I can install the contact frame for the arctic freezer 3 360. The problem I have is that the screws do not seem to be tightening onto the mb. The four holes around the processor are lined up perfectly but the screws just keep on turning. Please help.

(Pick the correct CPU socket to see right steps for your Intel build.)

What you did differently compared what is seen in manual (or in vid)?
Do note that when you remove the CPU latching bracket and lift the MoBo, the CPU socket backplate will fall off. You need to keep the CPU socket backplate (behind MoBo) in correct spot, so that screws have threads to bite in.
