I am going to build my first pc (Gaming and streaming/editing.).
The specs that I picked are as follow:

Ryzen 7 2700

Corsair CX550M

RX 580 8 GB

Exceleram 8x2 gbs 3200mhz

ASRock B450M Steel Legend

Storage I picked is an SSD PNY XLR8 CS3030 500GBs M.2 with quite good speeds for its price, 80 usd, max writing speed is 3000 and max reading speed is 3500 mbps. With that in mind I wont buy any storage for another 6 months or untill I run out of memory. I heard NVMe ssds are great when working with huge files (I will when I will be editing and making montages), faster loading times on a lot of games especially good optimized ones and can handle multiple processes loading at once better.

Also extra question. Would my Motherboard support booting up from NVMe?

Yes, your board supports booting from an NVMe drive.

As to whether it is worth it? It depends.
500GB is rather slim if it is the only drive in a game system.

If I were building a system today I'd have at least one. But I'd also have more than just a single 500GB drive.

Noted. But by ''worth'' I meant if its worth buying one over a regular ssd (slightly expensive)
