Question Are either of these monitors known to be bad ?

I'm looking to buy either "ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCG" or "LG UltraGear 27GS85Q". Should they be avoided like the plague? I've tried my best to whittle it down to these two but there are so many stats to compare.

27GS85Q should be decent based on the price. Likely similar to some of the older IPS LG Ultragear series which are generally well reviewed. You are getting into base model OLED pricing at $600, so that is something to consider. (There are three 1440p 240hz OLED under that price)

I can't really recommend a 4K 27" without knowing what system will be powering the monitor. 4K is not that easy.

I see Aeacus found a review for the ASUS at least, which it looks alright for a high refresh 4K display. Not sure if it is $450 good though. A few other 4K 160hz panels quite a bit cheaper.
