This might sound complicated.... hang in there though
In the Browse window, at the top next to the 'Look in:' listbox are 4
buttons. Hover your mouse over the last one and you'll see thati it is the
'View Menu' button (it's the button that looks like a mini-window with a
black triangle next to it).
Clicking this button will cause a small list to appear (Thumbnails, Titles,
Icons, List, Details) and one of the items will have a black dot next to it -
this is your current view. Change the view to Details by clicking on it in
the list and you'll see a new toolbar appear along the main area of the
window (Name, Size, Type etc... not necessarliy in that order).
Click on the 'Name' and you should see your icons sorted into alphabetical
order, either ascending or decending. Clicking 'Name' again will reverse the
order.
Final step - Click on the View Menu button again and click back on your
original view (or play around with the views until you find one you like).
