asrock 970 extreme 3 and amd fx 6300 problem

Please help me guys..........I purchased asrock 970 extreme 3 mobo with amd fx 6300 processor........I fitted in evrything........even mouse light glows but its not starting up like no fans spinning....etc.......please help me

Try CLEAR CMOS to reset the board. Make sure you unplug the power first.

Now evrything is fine except that keyboard and mouse are not working ,, what 2 do.??

lol you can't win

Make sure they are plugged into USB 2.0 sockets and not 3.0 sockets. Sometimes that can be an issue until you get everything up and running. Make sure you didn't accidently unplug the USB connections on the motherboard when fiddling around with the CMOS.

They are in 2.0..........mouse nd keyboard light does not glow...........wat to do ??

Are they plugged into the rear panel?

Yes........I tried in all places.......front panel......back panel......I also hv a usb card .....I tried in dat 2..........still no hope......bt I plugged my phone thru usb cable and my phone charges......

So the board boots up, and starts Windows but no keyboard/mouse...

unplug the usb card for now to eliminate the possibility that it's borking up.

Try plugging in after it gets to the windows screen.
