Question Asrock B550 Steel Legend: Rear type-c port not working properly

Hello there,
i am wondering why the rear usb c port of my asrock b550 steel legend fails to recognise the majority of my devices (Android phones, audio interfaces, usbc to 3.5mm audio)
My Apple devices seem to charge, but i get no data connection.
I checked different type-c to type-c cables but all of them work as expected on my other machine.

Is this a common asrock mainboard issue, a bios issue on my end or do you recommend opening a ticket at the asrock support for a faulty device?

Check and see what BIOS version you're on at this moment of time. Cross reference the BIOS listed on your motherboard support site and see if you've got any BIOS updates pending. As for the platform, what OS are you working with? Check and see if there are any updates pending for said OS as well. Following that, see if reinstalling the chipset drivers for the motherboard in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator, alleviates the issue.

Hi,
I recently updated my bios hoping for a fix but had no luck there so far....
My windows 11 is up to date too :/
I just visited the amd website and deployed their latest b550 chipset drivers (with admin rights), didnt fix it either.

What about drivers ? Probably included with Chipset drivers .

On the Asrock Webpage i couldn't find anything concerning b550 steel legend usb drivers.
