I’ve recently bought this Mobo and I’ve got it with the 1.90 BIOS version which is desktop ready for R5 5600x CPU.

Since I’m planning to install Windows 11 into this new build, does the Version P1.90 of BIOS support Win 11 or do I need to update the BIOS version to P2.20 and install Win 11 ?

Can’t speak to this particular board but my asrock b350 supports windows 11 fine. However there may be some improvements in one of the later bios versions. However that note seems to specifically say 2.20 supports windows 11 due to the ftpm setting which I seem to remember on my board I had to set since windows 11 requires a tpm, and the cpu can serve that function.

You can install Win 11 with P1.90 but you may have to go in BIOS enable UEFI mode, Secure Boot and the fTPM to make Win 11 happy. Microsoft wanted BIOS to default to enabling those thing so that's probably all P2.20 does for it.

However, it is recommended to update to P2.32 for best results with a 3000 or 5000 series processor. The later AGESA fixes problems with USB cut-out and audio glitches.
