[SOLVED] Asrock Fatal1ty H97 Killer - Any major difference running a GPU in the bottom PCIE x16?

My top PCIe slot has not worked since I acquired this mobo from a friend. I have been running my AMD RX 480 8gb card in the bottom PCIe, but was wondering if that has any effect on the performance I am getting playing games. If I understand correctly, my top is PCIe 3.0 x16 mode and the bottom is PCIe 2.0 x4 mode. Does that mean my GPU is getting 1/4 the potential performance, or would it not be that noticeable of a difference. Trying to see if it would benefit me to purchase a new mobo or not for slightly higher fps in games like Warzone. Thanks in advance!

Which Fatal1ty H97? There are multiple.

In any case, assuming the H97 Performance is similar to what you have, yeah, you're probably running it a bit slower, but GPU memory bandwidth is rarely the bottleneck. If it was crippling you, you'd notice it.

No worries! I don't think it makes a difference in this case, I just like to know the equipment I'm looking at, since you never know what kind of follow-up question there will be.
