Question Astro A50 Gen3 crackles and cuts out when roommate has a ping spike

Alright so i recently picked up an astro A50 Gen3, i noticed occasionally the headset audio will crackle, or cut out for a few seconds at what seems to be random. I was playing games with my roommate and every time my headset had the crackle/cutout issue his ping would spike. i've tried resetting the headset, router, and i cant seem to figure out what is causing this. it also seems like when there is no one/little to no wifi being used the headset rarely cuts out. Any advice would be helpful thank you.

might be an issue with the 5GHz headset station plus wifi using similar 5GHz frequencies.
try using only 2.4GHz or limit the range of the 5GHz frequencies being used of the wifi or use wired ethernet.
eventually a firmware update of the headset and router could help as well.
a different headset using Bluetooth might be an option as well
