Asus AI Nap?

I have recently had someone on my computer who didn't know what they were doing, and accidentally activated 'sleep mode' through the Asus AI suite program (AI Nap?). Now when I turn my computer on all I get is a black screen. I can't even access the bios or anything... keyboard spamming and mouse click does nothing (nor does inserting a disc or usb drive, so re-installing windows is out of the question).

I had EIST disabled in the bios so my cpu was running at full speed all the time, and I gather its not good to use power-saving tools while power saving is disabled (wasn't me). If this is the problem is there anyone who has this program and knows what to do or anything I can try. I'm about to write to Asus support but i thought I would try here first. Any help much appreciated.

Have you tried F8? Can you get into Safe Mode? Disabling EIST is usually done for overclocking, but I don't think it would be at fault. If you can't get into BIOS, your in trouble. Seeing as that would be one way to reset to defaults. I would talk with ASUS, I don't see how AI nap could cause this much trouble.

Have you tryed refreshing CMOS memory? Im not sure if that would help, but it possibly could... Your computer could have refresh button on it.. our you can unplug CMOS battery on your motherboard.
