Hey all,

Still a newbie to the OC world and using the windows based software to do my overclocking. When using TurboV EVO, I was able to get a stable 241x16 @ 3856mhz. However, I blue screen at 252x16 @ 4032mhz. I've seen multiple threads where people have been able to pass 4000mhz without issue, but they also have a x25 multiplier. Again, I'm very dumb in this world of OC'ing right now, but using the windows based OC tools, can I change the multipliers? Or is this where I really need to learn what I'm doing to do this in BIOS properly?

I have an ASUS Crosshair IV and an AMD 1090t black edition with a Noctua NH-D14 cooler.

Thanks

I would recommend doing it all in the bios...and you have a black edition ofcourse you should pick up the multiplier...and lower the ram speed if you overclock by raising the bus speed...
