[SOLVED] ASUS gtx 1660 Ti vs EVGA gtx 1070 ti Ultra Silent

(1440p, 144hz) I have two used deals lined up and have about $240 to spend, the asus guy said he would do $250 + shipping and the EVGA guy said he would do $240 flat. I watched videos on the asus 1660 ti and as i’ve seen, it plays exactly like a generic 1070 ti with the 1070 ti getting a few extra frames in almost every game. So what i’m asking is, which one should i get? There are many benefits to the 1660 ti, like, newer architecture, more optimized for more modern games since it’s newer, the asus fan design will almost always stay cooler than the evga one and lastly, noise will be much less. but, is that worth the $10 and shipping, or should i go with the 1070 ti for the raw performance. Btw i am by no means new at pc building but am just really bad at deciding things. help

I'm not sure there is a "raw performance" advantage to the 1070. To the contrary, according to Jayz.
