Question ASUS H610M-A + i5 12600K?

Hey guy,so I saw this custom built PC in a shop near me a couple of days ago and it had this CPU and Motherboard combo.

Can someone tell me a little bit more about this one?
Came with a RTX 3070 8GB ZOTAC GAMING gpu.

Looked really cool,nice fans,cpu fans,but I dunno how this processor works on anything other than Z690 boards.


I game in 1080p.

Very rare combination. All H610 motherboards are performance limiting a 12600K because they are powerlimited. Even some B660 boards does.

Ikr I thought the same but a lot of their builds have it, for 12400F's I get it.

Typical prebuilt scam. People see good CPU and think it's good PC, don't understand that such a poor board will give CPU poor performance. Obviously shops do that to reduce cost and increase profit, same thing with inadequate coolers and low quality PSUs.

Pretty much exactly what I thought.
Definitely needs a z690 mobo to run that i5.

That would be a shop selling crappy systems.

You can run that cpu on a few of the B660 boards such as the MSI Tomahawk, MSI Mortar, Gigabyte Auros and the Asus ROG.

2 performance parts everything else the cheapest crap they can use to cut cost.
Nothing I would even consider buying.
