I've been trying to help a friend who recently purchased HyperX Savage HX321C11SRK2/16 (DDR3-2133Mhz) we've tried adjusting DRAM voltages to try and get it working but with no luck.

His DDR3-1600Mhz (HX316C9SR/8) works yet if we placed in the DDR3-2133Mhz(HX321C11SRK2) into the same slot he'd get the beep code for "Ram not Detected".

We've tried the following:

Memory Freq: AUTO / 1600mhz / 2133Mhz
DRAM Voltage: 1.500 (Auto) / 1.600 / 1,650 V
VCCSA Voltage: 1.050 (Auto) / 1.100 / 1.150 V
PCH Voltage: 1.050 (Auto) / 1.100 / 1.150 V
CPU OFFSET Voltage: Auto / 0.120 V

But sadly to no results, we've tried

A1 = DDR3-1600Mhz (8GB)
A2 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)
B1 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)

A1 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)
A2 = DDR3-1600Mhz (8GB)
B1 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)

A2 = DDR3-1600Mhz (8GB)
B2 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)

A2 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)

A2 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)
B2 = DDR3-2133Mhz (8GB)

Just wondering if there is anything else we could try or did I try every possible solution for him?

Solution
Combining the New + Old will likely be problematic, but just having the new 2x8GB kit in A2+B2 should be fine.

Have you cleared the CMOS?

Can't remember if there's a MemOk! button on that board but, if there is, try it - it should retrain the memory.

Failing that, try A1+B1. It's not optimal, but would rule in/out an issue with specific slots.
