Hard Drive will not be recognized by the motherboard. It just says n/a next to all sata ports in the bios when the HDD is plugged in.The person has tried all of the things you could think of. Tried to plug into every SATA Port still in the bios it says n/a next to all of the SATA ports. They tried using a different SATA cord thinking it might be the cord that also did not work. What is weird the motherboard recognizes the disk drive when its plugged into the motherboard. So the SATA ports seem to be working if they can recognize some devices just not the Storage devices. They tried multiple hard drives and none of them worked. I told them to start doing stuff like resetting the bios which they tried to no result. This is a brand new build so new components. They also said they can hear the Hard Drive power up when they plug the power into it so they know its getting power its just not getting recognized by the Motherboard. Is this a motherboard hardware issue?
