Hello,
i'm between two laptops and i need a second opinion
the battle is between :
Laptop ASUS Gaming 15.6'' ROG Strix G15 G512LI, FHD 144Hz, Procesor Intel® Core™ i5-10300H (8M Cache, up to 4.50 GHz) , 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB
AND
Laptop HP Gaming 16.1'' Pavilion 16-a0011nq, FHD IPS, Procesor Intel® Core™ i5-10300H (8M Cache, up to 4.50 GHz), 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, GeForce RTX 2060 6GB
At this moment i own the asus laptop ,it works really well but today i saw the hp laptop for sales , the price is the same for both(859.29EUR).I'm thinking to return the asus and take the hp pavillion but i don't know anything about hp laptops if they are reliable or if they have overheating issues because i don't want to screw things up thinking that the hp pavillion will run games better and after i play some games to have overheating problems and frame drops. I don't wanna find out after I play games , that the main issue with this laptop is with overheating or frame drops .I experienced something similar in the past ,the specs were good but the performance was awful(other brand) and i don't want to regret buying the hp.

Thanks for the help 😀

Thx for the effort,it,s a really good laptop but i'm intel fanboy,i think i will swap it for the hp mostly becouse the gpu
That 4800h is faster, runs cooler, and has double the battery life as the intel processor you are looking at. It would be a mistake to get either of those laptops just because you like Intel. My first PC was an Intel CPU with an AMD graphics card and I loved it. Now I have an AMD CPU and an Nvidia graphics card. I have them because they are the best performance for their release generation. I highly advice not picking a part because you are just a fan of the company that makes it. You should pick a part because it gives you the best performance for your use case. Either way good luck and happy gaming!
It seems to be a very straightforward comparison. Do you want a higher hz screen on the asus or a slower IPS screen with a more powerful gpu on the HP. Also what country are you in? I could try to find the best laptop for you. What is the budget? 900?

You really need to do your research, the AMD is a far superior chip. It'd be a shame to get something less good because of brand loyalty.

Brand loyalty is futile when it comes to processors and graphics cards, one has to have an open mind and choose the best price to performance, regardless of brand.

The Intel chip is fine, the AMD is better.
