I have had this monitor a while and noticed when I look at the screen from an angle there is a pink tinge to the white, I can get rid of it by altering contrast and light, could this just be a pink bloom effect that the monitor has or is it faulty, I know when a monitor goes pink it is broken but this has been like it from new, it's bothering me because of the price tag. i wandered if it was something that they all had in common?

It has had the original cable that came with it, I just contacted asus support and they said change the cable because it may be faulty! I looked on amazon to find a certified cable, did not want some chinese rubbish proclaiming to be ok. I have ordered a new cable. It is a LINDY 2m CROMO 1.2 version. They where very good at support, but I still had to buy a new cable. If this does not help the situation they will take the monitor back and change it for me. Looking around the internet it seems that this type of cable has to be good, for it to work properly unlike I suppose and hdmi Cable, yet looking at 4k tv's people should also be carefull they have good cables because of transfer speeds.
Thanks for asking, I will let you know if the problem is resolved with new cable!!!
