I have a ASUS Sabertooth Z87 motherboard with an Intel 4770k proccessor. After getting everything all set up I noticed that when I boot my computer, before the ASUS logo displays, all four post state LEDs (CPU_LED, BOOT_DEVICE_LED, DRAM_LED, and VGA_LED) light up for about a 0.5 - 1 second each. The computer then proceeds to boot normally. I'm thinking that the LEDs are just lighting up for a shot time as the components are being checked for errors, but I'm unsure. I haven't had any strange errors or crashes, which is reassuring. Is there anybody else that has this motherboard that can tell me if they get the same thing on PC start-up?

When first turned on the LEDs should briefly light in sequence. CPU, memory, VGA and boot device in that order. The boot device LED will remain lit until the boot process is handed off to the operating system.
