[SOLVED] ASUS TUF B450M-Plus gaming Is it worth updating the BIOS?

Hello,

My son's PC has:
Ryzen 7 3800x
ASUS TUF B450M-Plus gaming
Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4R 3200 MHz 2x8GB
GTX 1060 6GB
Sabrent Rockt Q 1 TB

Right now I have BIOS version 2807 with AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.0 (2021 feb. 9th)

I have seen that there are several more modern BIOSes. The latest is BETA with AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.6B.
The previous one contains AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.3 Patch C.

Is it worth updating the BIOS?
In this case, which one would you recommend?

I think that updating your BIOS could hugely benefit ur son's computer. The BIOS AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.6B should work. Although its in BETA I think it would work well for you. If you don't feel safe downloading the AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.6B then the AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.3 Patch C is a great decision.

There is always a risk updating BIOS and it should only be done if you are experiencing problems. If no problems just leave it alone.
