Hi!
I currently have a ryzen 5 3600 and got a 5800x3d so I obviously need to update my BIOS to the latest version (Current version is 5220). I've read on reddit threads that directly updating to the latest BIOS might cause problems so I would need to download each individual update released after my current version. This seems redundant, could I simply install the latest one? Suppose I update my mb successfully, would my ryzen 5 3600 still work? Should I update the drivers before the BIOS? I also read that the latest BIOS 6210 seems to have issues, could I install the version right before (6202)? I've never done this before so I'm a bit lost and any guidance would be very appreciated
Just to make sure I have the correct links:
Drivers Chipset: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/prime x470-pro/helpdesk_download/
BIOS: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/prime x470-pro/helpdesk_bios/
Found this vid going through my old posts, could I still follow the same steps?
