Howdy everyone,

After upgrading on Skylake I've encountered with this trouble.
Internet connection dissapears if you restart PC. In addition Windows troubleshooter says "Windows Could Not Automatically Detect This Network's Proxy Settings". Commands like these does not help:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ipv4 reset

Disabling proxy server on IE does not help as well. Ethernet drivers reinstall/windows reset do not help at all. Turning off CSM in BIOS helps, but when you restart everyting begins again.
By the way, I cannot normally ping my router. In most cases it pings with losses of packets.
BIOS update does not solve anything regarding this troble.
I feel already feel desperate.

Specs:
CPU: I7-6700
MOBO: ASUS Z170-P
RAM: Crutial Ballistix 8GB DDR4 at 2666Mhz x2
GPU: Zotac GTX 970

I will appreciate for any information concerning this topic.
Thank you.

Solution
Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and removing the CMOS battery for a minute) and then updating the BIOS, if newer version available. If still same issue, I'd try RMA-ing the board.
Another option would be installing a PCIe LAN card.

Solution

Hey, I will try to do it.
Yeah, PCIe LAN card is being used as an alternative solution.. But still..
I will write later whether it helps or not.
Thanks.

Well, I have done what you suggested. By my amazement, LAN is still working. Even when you turn onn PC from sleepmode. I have no idea how long it will last. Hopefully, forever😀

Nonetheless, thank you for the help!
