Asus Z87-K motherboard not fully touching I/O shield

Hi guys and girls, just wanted some confirmation on this minor issue I'm having.

I finished my build, however the usb ports on the back of the motherboard do not fully reach the i/o shield. They are still accessible but was just wondering if that is normal. I can't move the motherboard any closer or the standoff's don't match up.
The case is a cm 690 ii advanced just in case that is relevant.

Any input would be greatly appreciated and if possible how to solve the problem (not a massive problem though).
