Athalon with 970

Hi, I decided to buy a gtx 970 but i have an amd athalon x4 860k @4.2 GHZ, will this bottleneck my card, or is there a cpu for about $80-100 on the fm2+ (preferably unlocked) that people highly reccomend

You could sub an i5 or 7 for more money but that processor is better then you've got now and I wouldn't mess with a 970 unless you are getting it cheap I'd go with a 1060

I'm getting the 970 for $150. If I switched to intel I would prefer to go to the 1151 socket, so I could upgrade slowly. On my old pc I had a g3258 with a z87 plus and I loved it

UPDATE: I abandoned the 970 and 860k, and bought a g1 980 and will be purchasing a 1151 socket cpu
