Question Atheros Ethernet adapter not working?

As of this morning, after resetting my network settings, I am no longer able to use my Ethernet adapter. Is there any fix?

I've already tried reinstalling drivers, rebooting, and a LOT of other things.

Troubleshooter declares "Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

I'm on Windows 10 Home, the Ethernet adapter is Qualcomm Atheros AR871/8175

It means that your ip address settings is incorrect.
if this is your home network then it most likely has to be set to DHCP.
if you rightclick on the ethernet adapter in the settings and go to properties -> doubleclick on TCP/IPv4 -> set it to automatic on both.
