Does that count as a bold move for AMD? :O Or not? :\ It is a good move though if they can actually stick to it.

Seriously though, I wonder when M$ is going to release an OS for the A64...

While I could be completely wrong on this, it was my impression that the earlier shipping was not so much as to move the launch date up, but rather to avoid a paper launch. That way come september they can say "introducing desktop 64 processing, on sale now" and it will be so.
