does amd radeon 6870 run only on amd mother boards or will it also run on intel motherboards.
if it runs on intel motherbords ,will it run on intel DH61WW motherboard ?

Yes it will, without any problem. AMD would lose a lot of graphics card customers if they made their cards only work with AMD motherboards. Make sure that your power supply has the power connectors needed for the card (2 6 pin PCI-E), and that it can actually deliver enough power to run the card.

Yes, the AMD Radeon HD 6870 will run on Intel based motherboards. AMD would be effectively "shooting themselves in the foot" if they tried to make their graphics cards only work with their own CPU's.
