Attacht Fan to 4 pin adapter

I am thinking about buying a fan to help keep some system parts cool, however, the fan doesn't have a 4 pin adapter already connected. It has the normal 2 power wires coming out of it. Is it possible to attach a 4 pin adapter so I can use it with my computer, and How do I do this?

there's a 2 to 4 pin adapter. most of the big delta fans use the adapters to keep it from draining power from the motherboard.

ok as i understand your post you only have two wires with no connector? ok my solution i use for this is to buy a 4 pin (molex) y cable adaptor and pulg it in now you have two molex power connectors on one of the two cut the yellow and black wire beside yellow(12v+/12v-)now strip and solder these to your fan wires
