I recently bought an Antec SLK2650 BQE Solution series case. It came with an Antec 350 watt SmartPower PSU. I noticed that the ATX main power connector is 24 pins. It has a notch at the 10th row of pins, seeming to indicate it will work with my 20 pin board. According to the manual, it says is backwards compatible with previous ATX power supplies. Is this correct, or do I need to buy a 24 pin to 20 pin connector?
***Update: I have discovered that the 24 pin connector actually splits. Four pins at the end of the connector come off and detach from the rest of the connector. It seems that it will work fine, with my 20 pin board. Am I right on this issue? Also, there is a wire missing inside the 20 pin connector, is this normal?
