Question ATX cable incompatible with case design - what to do?

I have an atx system I am building and tonight when I was doing cable management, I realised I needed to install the metal panel in my case due to not using the side intake.

The case is a Corsair iCUE Airflow 5000d. This case comes with a metal panel (photos) that hides cables at the front, but it does not give enough clearance to the ATX cable for me to install it, if I do the cable is bent too harshly for me to be comfortable with. The PSU is a thermaltake toughpower gf3 1200w. The ATX is quite unyielding and I am unsure how to fix this problem. I would very much like to keep the panel intact as it gives a cleaner look than leaving it out.

I've looked at individual sleeve cables, and also 90 degree adapters. I also tried to search online to see if anyone else came across this, but most of these builds are liquid cooled, thus the side intake is used and not hidden.

Posted this in PSU as it is PSU related but happy for it to be moved to the Case section if more relevant.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to include a video of your entire build since I think you're probably doing it wrong with the cable management.

If you look through this video;

the cable kit used in the above linked video is this;

and the cables are ever so slightly longer than the cables bundled with your PSU;

Perhaps see if you can fold the 24pin cable(and the other cables as well) a little before hooking it up to the motherboard. That way you don't place stress on the motherboard's connector(s).

I'm not really seeing a problem to start with. Those cables are fairly flexible. I agree pre bending will likely solve the issue.

Cable kit would have been my next suggestion as well.
Oh, I didn't even realise that cables can be pre bent before you plug them in. I read a few guides on builds, and bending the cables wasn't something that stuck out to me otherwise I would have done it. Then again, I am always scared of causing damage to something. In my haste to get things done after having the parts sitting around for a while (thanks adhd) I may have missed a crucial part of the cable management process or I'm just not watching the right videos. The video posted is more comprehensive then what I've seen.

I've tried bending it before plugging it in, this is what it looks like not seated but it's there. Is that bend bad?
