Hello,

hopefully someone here could assist me with the problem I'm having.

My specs
CPU: i7-13700k
GPU: 4070 Ti
RAM: 32GB

For a few FC games now, the audio of the game has been crackling/popping while playing but it gets worse during cutscenes. l've been able to resolve this problem by capping FPS, but on FC 25 that doesn't work. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this type of problem usually related to the CPU?
I've also had this problem on my old PC. I've never played an FC game before the actual release so maybe it will get fixed with an update?

It doesn't matter if it's in-game audio or external, it's always crackling.

Thank you.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this type of problem usually related to the CPU?
No, it could be your audio drivers, the OS, the motherboard BIOS or your electrical source. Does the issue crop up on any other title when taxing your platform? Speaking of titles, where did you source the installer for the game?
