Hi all,
I have a relatively new ASUS N550JV laptop (a week old). I'm trying to hook it up to my TV via HDMI cable. When I do, the video passes through perfectly fine, however the audio still plays through my laptop speakers.
I've tried multiple times to reinstall the NVIDIA drivers multiple times (it has a GeForce 750M card), but when I go through the install, the custom specification menu does not have the iption to install the standard nVIDIA HD Audio drivers (just the standard Graphic driver, GeForce experience and PhysX options).
When I look through the extracted driver package, it does contain the HD Audio driver information, but the device manager does not show there to be any device to be installed (therefore I cannot install the Audio driver via the inf file).
Any help?
I'm potentially thinking that perhaps the audio pass through cable has come loose within the laptop (joining the MB audio to the GFX card), but this is pure speculation and well beyopnd my normal grasp of what's going on.
