I am looking to purchase a new PC for audio production and gaming purposes.
It's been about five years since I last bought a computer, and as such I'm quite out of date with modern components..
I'm looking for something that will play recent games and be fairly future proof (on a 22 inch screen), though I am willing to get a system with a graphics card that I can upgrade in a year or so if the other parts will still be able to cope in three or four years time.
As I am using it for audio production, a quiet case would be essential, though a soundcard is not needed, as I will be using a firewire audio interface for recording.
Links to pre-built/configurable systems would be appreciated rather than individual components, as I fear I would crush them with my clumsy hands.
My budget is £1000-£1300
