When I start up my computer, I get a message that says "SystemRoot\Windows\System32\Autochk.exe program not
found - skipping Autocheck". I came here to find the solution, and tried what had worked for someone else. They were told to go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\BootExecute" and reset some information. I tried to do just that, but when I went into my regedit, the "bootexecute" line was not in there inside the Session Manager folder. What do I do at this point? Thanks in advance.

You could make this registry value inside session manager registry key , just right click on an empty space , click to make a new multi string value , name it BootExecute and set the value for it as autocheck autochk * . close your registry editor and I hope on reboot you will not see that message again . :hello:
