Question Automatically crashes and restarts on it owns

Hello All,

I need a help with my issue as my computer automatically crashes and restarts on it owns, I am having a lot of difficulty troubleshooting which thing is wrong here. I have purchased new PSU - so that is out of question as this prob was also there on my last psu but frequency was less. Another thing is that my all things are under warranty but my mobo which is msi z790 Tomahawk max WIFI, the gpu clip hold thing is broken so will it cause issue with warranty claim? everything else is perfect condition. My PC specs are :-

CPU - i7 14700K
GPU - Zotac 3060 RTX
Mobo - MSI z790 tomahawk max wifi ddr5
Ram - G skill trident z5 7200Mhz
PSU - SuperFlower 1000 80+ Gold
Cooler - Arctic Freezer III 360mm

Your description suggest to me that there is a loose connection somewhere.

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

Take a close look at the GPU clip - it indeed may be the culprit. How much wiggle or other movement is there when the GPU is touched?

Use a bright flashlight to inspect everywhere for signs of damage: bare conductor showing, melted insulation, kinked or pinched wires, corrosion, browned or blackened areas, swollen components, loose or missing screws, cracks - anything amiss.

Then boot the system again and see if the problem continues. If so, then look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, or even informational events being captured just before or at the times of the crashes/restarts.

Hello as I was also having doubt that gpu can cause this issue, I run my pc through motherboard display and it still crashed, I cleaned my RAM and put It again and it did so again, can you tell me how to check for error codes or event thing I'm sorry I don't know how to

How is the PC normally shutdown?

Likely not an issue per se because the time(s) on the errors are more suggestive (to me anyway) of a loose connection or a failing/faltering PSU.

The PSU may simply not able to keep up with the systems power demands including steady state operation and spikes.

Power failures and improper shutdowns can and do corrupt files.

You may be able to recover a bit more stability by running "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to find and fix corrupted files.

However that is only an interim solution at best - the source cause for loss of power and shutdowns remains.

Are you able to swap in another known working PSU?

In the meantime be sure to back up all important data at least 2 X to locations away from the host PC in question. Verify that the backups are recoverable and readable.
