avi capture file size

can any of you wonderful people out there explain further the file size
limitations and what i am doing wrong.
i cannot capture file sizes above 2gb even though formatted in ntfs using xp
and a wincast capture card i do no need massive file sizes the 4gb limit
which i should get would do, anybody?

It can depend on the file type you capture and where from. I'm not familiar
with your capture card, but it may well be capturing in type 1 avi files.

You can of course just join them all up in your editing app.
