I have this issue for quite some time and its really annoying me. I have object and shadow pop up in pretty much all the games that I play, especially open world games. For example: GTA V, Far Cry Primal. Its usually visible on trees and random objects. I have no issues with the textures. I checked the temps and they look pretty normal to me: Processor 40-50 degrees celsius, graphic card 50-60 degrees celsius. My specs are: Phenom II X6 1090T 3,21 ghz, NVIDIA GTX 950 2GB, 8GB RAM 1600 mhz. I reinstalled Windows and formatted the drive where old windows was plus I changed many NVIDIA drivers and the problem is still present. BTW I have Windows 10. Please help.
Pretty much the only option at this point is to somehow test with a different GPU, be that by borrowing one from a friend (which you said isn't possible), taking it in to a computer shop and having them stick one in, or buying a new one. I recommend the computer shop option, since borrowing from a friend is out.
Well, I am probably going to sell this one and buy RX 550, but I just want to hear your thoughts, since I am selling this GPU, what should be a price for 1 year old GTX 950 Asus Strix Gaming with 2 year manufacturer warranty.? I already put 135 euros as price, so, is that price realistic for this GPU? And BTW, I dont think the GPU is broken or something. I think this is a problem with this GPU, since I found some videos on YouTube, where people with same GPU are having similar problems. Even my friend who has GTX 950, has this problem. But its annoying me so I am selling it. I remember not having those problems with Radeon HD 7790.
