AXP 1600+/1800+ palomino

So.
Im asking someone who has actually overclocked
some of these palomino core AXP:s to its limits.
Max Mhz?
And is it good to run them like: 8x200Mhz whit nfroce2 mobo?
And what about heatsink. i was thinking of zalmal7000cu :/

The fastest Palomino was sold at 1733 MHz. and it really didn't have much more in it than that speed. I have one and could barely get it to 1800 even with voltage increases. These were the old .18 u cores.

Once AMD went to the later .13 u cores, they could reach up over 2 GHz. I have one Barton running stable at 2.4 GHz.

Regarding your question on bus speed, I don't recall that these Palomino cores were unlocked were they? How you gonna adjust the multipler to allow you to use the 200 MHz. speed?

And yes, nForce2 was the best chipset for the AthlonXP chips.
