Aywun 750w Pro any good?

Am looking for a new power supply as the one I have is a crappy generic 650w one from centercom (the dick conned me into buying it) which only has 36A on the 12v Rails.

I have been looking around and the thermaltake and corsair ones which people recommend are fairy expensive (especially here in Australia)

I came across a brand called Aywun, which yes I know is a little generic, but there PSU's don't seem too bad. I found there 750w MEGAPOWER Pro series one for $105. It has a total of 70A on the 12v rails. yes you heard, 70A. It is also 80+ Bronze Certified

My PC Specs are as follows, should it run it well?

-Gigabyte GA-Z68P-D3 Motherboard
-Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 Ti 1GB Graphics Card
-Intel i3-2120 CPU @ 3.3GHz
-2 x 4GB Memory Sticks
-750 GB Hard Drive

Your system doesnt need 750 w you can buy a cheaper 650w from corsair andbe good

I was just thinking though it allows room for upgrade. and also the 650w form corsair are still like 110+

There is the Aywun 650w MEGAPOWER PRO for 15 bucks cheaper. And instead has 60A on the 12v Rails. Would this be a better option?

Ive never heard of it myself so i would stay away from it best bands to be looking for are cwt seasonic rosewill ocz corsaier

Not good in the sense that it is pretty much borderline on all specs. It CAN provide the rated power but it will not be able to do so cleanly as quality units can.

Look for Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, Antec power supplies if you can. They may be pricier but they will give you the peace of mind that choosing a cheaper psu may not.

Hell, even Corsairs budget lines like the CX and GS should be better.

All will be much superior to the aywun and provide cleaner power with much better quality components. All will power any and all SLI/Xfire solutions you can think of with no problems. The same cannot be said for the Aywun.

[Side Note] Antec NeoEco 620 & HCG 620 are based on modified Seasonic S12II units but should act identical to each other and include the same highly rated seasonic build quality

If you can always go for a well known brand of PSU, As the rest of the guys say it may cost you a bit more money but it will pay off in the long run on the quality of build and the power protection features and stability.

According to the unit's Ecos ID number, it is based on the High Power HPC-750-B14S(C), which is used in the OCZ ZS series 750W and Rosewill Hive-750, which are good independently regulated, high quality, positively reviewed units with nothing but Japanese capacitors. So if it's anything like them then it is better performing than the units which lilotimz suggested.

It is not guaranteed that Aywun used Japanese caps or haven't cheaped out in some other way. Possibly searching Australian forums for someone who has bought one and opened it up will answer the question about what caps are used.

Unless the OCZ ZS series units are available for a similar price then I personally would take the chance on it, unless you are willing to pay extra for something that has been reviewed and better.

Can I ask how you know that these Aywun Megapower Pro units are bad? Have you read a review or something which supports this?
