Hi,

Just wondering if my motherboard supports/need to update the bios to be able to use the Ryzen 5 3600? I'm currently using 2600 atm
my bios version is:

"1.K0"
Version:
7A37v1K

I think its the latest besides the "7A37v1MV(Beta version)"

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350M-MORTAR#down-bios

but upon checking on the compatibility CPU Ryzen 5 3600 it says the bios version needs to be

"7A37v1M"

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350M-MORTAR#support-cpu

Do I need to download that and update my BIOS again?

Solution
Yes...update to 7A37v1M for it to support Ryzen 3000 processors.

And are you familiar with how the BIOS changes? It's fully functional but it's no longer the red themed graphical interface. I like it better with my B450 Mortar as it's easier to navigate.

Hi,

Thank you, I just updated my Bios I was surprised when the UI changed I thought I messed something up. I might upgrade my motherboard in the future.
