[SOLVED] B550 BIOS update without CPU

Planning to upgrade from a R5 2600 on a MSI B450 board to a R5 5600X on a B550 board from ASROCK (Extreme4). Is it possible to install the needed BIOS update onto the board with or without the CPU installed, something akin to a BIO flash(back), partically if the BIOS is already on a USB from the B450 board.

That board doesn't seem to have a FlashBIOS button AFAIK, so you will probably need a 3000 series CPU for that. You should choose some other board with FlashBIOS button or ensure from customer support that the board you buy is BIOS ready for 5600x.
