Question Backplate for CPU Cooler

So I started building a new PC for my dad using old parts, and ran into a problem. I previously had a AM3+ socket mount for a Corsair Hydro series put onto the motherboard.

Instead of that one, I got a Noctua NH-U9S CPU cooler instead that doesn't fit into it, so I need to find another one. Anyone who can give me advice on what to get for it?

No, only with the mounting for the cooler, where the screws doesn't match with the backplate intakes (not sure what they are called), so I can't secure it.

Yes the mount fits the holes, but the screws can't get screwed into the intakes, because the way the screw turns is too fine. I'm not sure what it's called in english, but it's not the thickness of the screw, but rather the turning part of it that is too wide and rough for the intake to fit.

Screws' PITCH. U simply must get proper screws.

Can't u just re-use the old screws? if too long, cut them, if too short, take your old one to the hardware store and tell the clerk, THIS IN X LENGTH.

Oh yes me too, if I could get the proper screws, everything would be fine, but I have no idea where to get it from.

Screw sizes are nothing special, if you could bring backplate with you to some hardware store, they should have something to fit the holes.
