I am getting very upset and i wanna cry. I have a really nice PC and get not so good frames. This is my PC: http://a.co/8bezVKH
I get around 100 fps on max settings with a 1080 TI while my friend with a 1060 gets around the same with the exact same settings. Even when I pu settings on all low i struggle to get 200fps which I need for my 240HZ monitor. I am starting to get really annoyed and want to give up and cry. Can someone please give me a non BS answer on why this is accruing. Here is a benchmark test: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/15353604

I think that your gpu might be bottlenecked in some way. Your userbenchmark score is quite low for that clock. Is the GPU seated in the first x16 slot next to the cpu? On most boards the lower slots have less pci-e lanes which can affect the performance of a high end gpu.

I can show you my results with 1080ti on similar clocks.

Maybe your cpu single core performance is too low for that kind of refresh rates. You might want to try to oc it too see if it helps a little.

Very high FPS is where Intel wins easily due to higher IPC. Try lowering the resolution as a test, if your FPS does not improve significantly it’s most likely you are cpu bound. It only takes 1 core reaching 100% to limit performance.
Its the damn cpu. Ill have to get the 2700x, but i dont have the option to return my current cpu
