Question Bad motherboard for my CPU ?

So i just bought a ryzen 7 5800x3d and paired it with the ASUS PRIME B550M-A WiFi II motherboard but as it turns out this might have been a bad decision with the motherboard due to the power configuration. And i just want to know if it would be worth going through the hassle of returning the motherboard and going for a 8+ power config or just stick with the current one?

What sort of boards do you have access to if you're able to return it? In fact how long with the return/turn around process take?

none sadly and it says on their website 1-2 weeks

And also how big would the performance difference be if i was to get another motherboard with a 8+ power config, would it be noticable?

There shouldn't be any problem due to power configuration, it's more than enough for 8 cores.
