Baldur's Gate 2 Problem!

I can't find the blade of Equilizer sword, I have the hilt, the stone and I know for sure that the blade is somewhere in the Underdark, I think Beholder's cave, but I can't find it, I killed all those brain cratures but couldn't anything good at all, there are stairs that say "incomplete and leads nowhere". WHERE IS THE BLADE??? I tried to find information on Mplayer (now GameSpy Arcade), but my computer hangs up! Everytime I go to GameSpy chat, my system specs are
A7V with 800Mhz Athlon, GeForce2 MX and 448Mb of pc133, Maxtor 30(20 gigs free)Gigs HD , 7200rpm and ata/100. I have Windows ME(maybe it's because I get only 38.666 connection?)! So either tell me how should I make gameSpy work or WHERE IS THE BLADE?????
Anyone who helps will get ah...you can buy yourself some chips..I will allow..🙂 PLEASE HELP!!! My walkthrough doesn't tell me where it is exactly but says in Underdark, I found worthy things in every dungeon, except Beholder's cave (Southern dungeon), so I think it should be there ,but I can't find it!!! (I think I repeat myself......)

I cant remember exactly where I found it but go to the Interplay Bauldurs gate message board and do a search on it. That is the best place for BGate info, cheats, and spoilers. Just dont abuse it too much.

Yep. One part is in the beholders' den, and the other part is with the illithids. The pommel jewel was back in the chapter 1 dungeon (I think).

WWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE??????????????? Where in Beholder's den???????????? I have searched ALL OVER!! I can't find it!! i found two treasure places , one is in the very NORTH (there are 4 circles in the NORTH ,SOUTH, EAST AND WEST, I found some gems in the north one, and in the middle of the dungeon there is another one with potions, BUT NO BLADE!!! www.gamefaqs.com doesn't tell anything about that!!!)
WHERE EXACTLY YOU FOUND THE BLADE??? I need to beat BG2 until the 14th of June!!

Well, I clicked on the link that I provided in the last post. Went under PC, B, Baldur's Gate 2. There's a 669k walkthrough by some shmoe, dated 6/6/01. Doesn't get much more current than that.

It pulled up a text file. I did a search for 'equalizer'. It came up with list.

The Equalizer Sword -- Pommel Jewel of the Equalizer (Irenicus' Dungeon)
Hilt of the Equalizer (Mind Flayer City, Underdark)
Blade of the Equalizer (Beholder City, Underdark)

I'll leave it up to you to find what you need in the walkthrough. It tells you <font color=red>exactly</font color=red> where to find it. It's just a simple text file, and I'll be really cool and give you the link directly to it....

the blade can be found on the body of the elder orb you killed when you first entered the beholder lair. the hilt is on table of the prison room in the illithid lair. and like everyone knows, the jewel is in irenicus' home in the first chapter.
