my pc stopped loading in to windows yesterday first i tried to reinstall and repair the os thinking it was a software issues but that didn't work so i tried swapping out components my bios has memtest built in so i ran that and it showed errors in the ram so i swapped that out and nothing.
i then disconnected all the drives but nothing there ether so cpu or mobo were left (i am using an on board gpu at the moment)
so i swapped out the cpu and.... bang and a flash my psu had blown i am not sure why and i have already ordered a new one but i am not sure if this was the original problem or due to me (i don't think i did anything wrong and i have repaired lots of PCs)
i am guessing that my mobo (brand new) may be blown and the memory(also new) and the cpu my spare so not new! it was a hyper psu if that helps but what do you think will be dead? i wont find out till the new psu arrives!
