Question Battery and Wifi stopped working on laptop.

Both Battery and Wireless stopped working on Laptop around the same time. It works fine when plugged in but shuts down as soon as I take out the power chord. Internet only works via ethernet.
Tried to charge the PC overnight, updated all drivers, switched to multiple OS's (windows, ubuntu, fedora, etc) still same issue.
What's the problem.

You could've mentioned the make and model of your laptop and it's SKU as opposed to the speccy. However that speccy did bring up some more questions? Why are you on a 32bit OS when you have 8GB's of ram on the laptop? Where did you source the installer for your OS? Did you manually install all relevant drivers for your laptop in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

How old is the battery in the laptop? If it's the same battery from the day the laptop was purchased, then yes you're going to have to source a replacement with a genuine part. As for the WiFi adapter, have you tried dropping in a similar card to see if that works in your laptop?
